Since 1947, when IMADA started manufacturing force gauges, IMADA has been fully committed to supporting the improvement of craftmanship in manufacturing industry around the world. To further advance the creation of a better future for all of us, we are taking the environmental consideration that we have cultivated a step further.
IMADA has been promoting companywide activities to promote environmental improvement, focusing on 1) digitalization, 2) plastic reduction, and 3) resource conservation. We have been propelling environmental improvement activities, including the use of OCR, and the paperless operations for ordering, inventory management, the reduction of plastics used for shipping and receiving, the installation of solar panels, and the reduction of wasteful use of electric power. We have been operating with a low carbon footprint in sincere consideration of the environment.
To accelerate these efforts and contribute to the global greenhouse gas reduction target, IMADA has calculated CFP (Scope 1 and Scope 2) to quantitatively understand the various environmental improvement activities we are continuously promoting and to further materialize our contribution to society.
